The International Research Symposium in Tourism, Hospitality & Events was first held in 2017, and is the largest one-day research event in the field in UK. It hosts scholars from all over the globe, whilst the delegates have the opportunity to present their research not only in person, but also (for non-UK residents) via SKYPE. This is because the symposium aims to operate as a research dissemination platform also for those that face time and/or financial constraints, providing them the ability to reach wider research audiences, build networks, and exchange views and ideas.
